Hi , welcome to issue #22 of the Tasart newsletter. Another exciting year has come and gone with not enough time to get everything we want to do, done. But with your support we have managed to more than double our selection of art materials since we bought the shop over 5 and a half years ago. So, thank you everyone, our customers and our suppliers, for another successful year. We sincerely appreciate your continuous support. In the new year, we will continue to grow, experimenting with and supplying new products for you, our customers. We will continue to be 'agency free'; not obligated to push certain brands like other art stores in New Zealand who are under contract to do so. We will continue to be accountable only to you, our customers, and continue to provide you with the best service, to help and share our expertise and provide you with the widest range of brands and art material choices in New Zealand.
We had our first painting session and end-of-year barbeque at our home this year, inviting those regulars who join our painting group nearly every Saturday, some for nearly 2 years. Thanks to my beautiful daughter who modeled for us and did a fantastic job.
Painting from life is the best way to learn and we applaud those who fight through their frustrations, knowing and accepting that there are no secret tips to drawing and painting, just a long hard road where even the disasters become valuable lessons. We have thoroughly enjoyed painting with you all this year.
